Sunbeam Tiger 2025 electric roadster using recycled materials

Sunbeam_Tiger_2025_1.jpg It’s such joy to see the old babies come alive with an improved, or at least revived, version. A British design student Ryan Skelley has created renderings of a two-seat electric roadster for 2025 that would commemorate the centennial of the 1925 Sunbeam Tiger land speed record car. The latter has the reputation of using a V12 engine going to a record speed of 145 miles-per-hour. The new car is estimated to use lithium titanate batteries to power an electric motor and go up to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and reach a limited top-end of 160 mph.

The concept car also has its share of green to go with the tubular frame made from recycled aluminum and the seats constructed of soy foam and biofabrics.
