• Porsche unveils new plug-in hybrid hatchback, the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept


  • SUVs are generally never green. These huge chunks of metal on wheels drink more fuel than the average small car and are usually a pain to the environment. German manufacturer Porsche has just unveiled its newest hatchback-mini-SUV, the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept that is surprisingly green! A plug-in hybrid, the car is a five-door vehicle using the e-Hybrid badge. The car is expected to come with a trunk-mounted battery pack and a single drive motor that will spin the rear axle. Apart from the, Porsche has not unveiled any official news in regards to the new car’s powertrain. Also, the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept comes with Boxster-like headlamps and tail-lamps reminiscent of the 911, making the car a treat to the eyes.
