• Jaguar to produce hybrid turbine-powered C-X75 in limited numbers

  • c-x75jaguarconcept009.jpgJaguar wooed the world with its C-X75 supercar concept a while ago. Now, the British automaker is back in action with plans to produce a limited number of these turbine-powered mean machines. Also, the car will not be completely powered by the turbines themselves, and will use hybrid propulsion being developed jointly by the Williams F1 team. The turbines will produce 95 horsepower each and will drive the rear wheels and will be developed by Bladon Jets Engineering Centre in Coventry. Also, the supercar will make use of electric energy for extra power punches, taking this prancing cat to the 60mph mark in just 3 seconds while staying as green as possible!
