A 1986 Honda motorcycle becomes electric

Santa Cruz handyman Geoff Bjorgan successfully converted a 1986 Honda motorcycle into an electric, pedal-assist bike. The parts were from his girlfriend’s bike, the frame was a Sawzall and he installed electric motors and batteries. The bike is heavy but can cruise at a speed of 21 miles an hour. It was a total wreck when he first started working on it. The pedals are Diamondback Bigfoots. The headlight is an old oil lamp from a hearse. The electric motors are Electrohomes from Weird Stuff Warehouse, which pumps 36,000 rpm. Wow I can’t wait for his next project.
