• Airbus and Air Canada successfully complete “Perfect Flight” cutting short Co2 emissions by nearly 40%

  • Airbus and Air Canada recently joined forces to successfully operate a one-of-a-kind Perfect Flight routed over international borders. In an attempt to cut Co2 emissions by a good 40%, the airliner used a commercial Airbus A319 aircraft and had it fly from Toronto, Canada, all the way up to Mexico City using a 50% bio-fuel blend made from used cooking oil sourced from the SkyNRG organization. Using a carefully chalked air traffic management (ATM) procedure that enabled the aircraft to fly the most direct route from Toronto to Mexico City, the airliner was able to cut short its fuel consumption and carbon emissions, paving the way ahead for cleaner and more eco-friendly flights in the future.
