Kris Kuksi recycles toys to create the monstrous art

beast-anthology-exhibition-1.jpg Previously we have seen how something as beautiful as the Mona Lisa was re-created using old motherboards, here is another similar display of art using recycled material. Kris Kuksi displays his art called ‘Beast Anthology’ at the Joshua Liner gallery this weekend, which is the artsists’ large-scale work which is all about detailing and intricacies. The designer uses mass produced junk like toy soldiers, plastic skills, and other mechanical junkies, to produce decorative tableaux. Echoing with the times, his art contains both micro and macro dimensions. His intricate assemblages of small parts and large figures resolve into highly aesthetic totems with an air of neoclassicism. His mono-chromatic color palette gives you an eerie ancient feeling. beast-anthology-exhibition-2.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-3.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-4.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-5.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-6.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-7.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-8.jpg beast-anthology-exhibition-9.jpg
