Damon Matthews of Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, recently conducted a research to point out the world’s biggest global warming offenders. As per his calculations, US, China, Russia, Brazil, India, Germany and the UK alone are responsible for 60% of the global warming!

Using historical data, Matthews and his colleagues included carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels and changes in land use and also accounted for methane, nitrous oxide and sulphate aerosols between 1906 and 2005 to crunch out these statistics. It really is about time nations around the world realize their folly and begin a clean-up act to prevent the only planet we’ve got to inhabit from giving up.
