The All-Star Red Carpet show to go green, like the rest of the league

mlb.jpg The 81st Midsummer Classic will go green with MLB and the Natural Resources Defense Council together making an effort to ensure that the All-Star festivities stay clean, environment friendly and eco-conscious. The All-Star Red Carpet Show on Tuesday will have its act go green too; with the red-carpet itself to be made of 100 percent recycled fiber content, with power supplies using alternative and renewable energy like solar power and wind power. The All-Star festivities have pledged to clean up its act and go green, and have done so, from the start to the end.

With the league turning to green-friendly alternative, every time possible, the environment has stayed a bit cleaner and greener than it would have, if the All-Star continued the way it used to, previously. The choices of paper materials for tickets, invitations and programs and use of recyclable materials everywhere possible has given the league a greener horizon to look forward to.
