Solar Artworks Project brings together solar-powered art installations from around the world!

We recently stumbled across the Solar Artworks Project and couldn’t help smiling like the Cheshire cat at the brilliance behind it all! The project essentially encompasses solar-powered artworks from around the world, painstakingly put together by creator of the online compendium, Spanish researcher Nacho Zamora. Also, Zamora interviewed each of the designers behind these various solar-powered art installations to further inform on the inspiration and the effort it took to create these beautifully green statements of art!

After all, solar energy isn’t limited to solar panel alone. With a touch of ingenuity and creativity, you could turn a simple principal of using solar eat to generate electricity, into a work of art that never seems to fail at amazing observers and educating them about the need for renewable energy at the same time!
