Father-son duos are known to create masterpieces, with Noah and his sons building an arc as a perfect example. Well, this father-son team came up with something more applicable than a giant arc in our world today, a solar powered water pump. Father Tim Adams and offspring Clint Adams claim that this pump could have prevented a roof collapse at central Lubbock building. Tim Adams is a retired roofer and businessman, living in Idalou. A workshop behind his home has given birth to eight black box pumps, and the duo has already received a provisional patent.

The pump is a relatively cheap solution to draining away pooled rainwater from flat roofs, to prevent collapses. Most roofs like these have a provision to drain water, but some need pumps. The pump, powered by solar energy, can move 500 gallons of water an hour, keeping away leakages and roof collapses. The Adams duo dreams of selling these pumps across the country for $395 dollars each. Thumbs up to Tim and Clint Adams!
