To recharge batteries, we normally use another device to do it. But Knut Karlsen thought of an idea of recharging batteries without the charger. He created solar cell. The solar cell is a battery that can be recharged using solar power. The batteries have solar panels integrated into it that recharges continuously if it is placed outdoors. The prototype cells do not have a definite charging time yet but if it will be available in the market, people will definitely patronize it especially those who would want to give their bit of share in conserving the planet.
